JOSEPH P. CALLAN, M.S., M.S.W., LCSW
CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Mr. Callan possesses a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, a Diplomate in Clinical Sexology, is a Registered Clinical Supervisor, and holds certification from ICISF in Critical Incident Stress Management. He is a member of the Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association and has been certified by the Horsemanship Safety Association (HSA) and Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association (EAGALA), Level II. He has ten years experience with youth in outdoor therapy, seventeen years as a psychotherapist in private practice, and been an adjunct professor with the University of South Florida School of Social Work for the last fifteen years. A cofounder of TRAVERSE, he has been working in Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy for the last ten years.
GLENDA HENDERSON, HSI, REG. NARHA INSTRUCTOR
EQUESTRIAN DIRECTOR
Mrs. Henderson is a certified, therapeutic riding instructor both through the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association and the Horsemanship Safety Association. She holds a level I certification with the Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association (EAGALA). Mrs. Henderson is a life-long horse owner and experienced in competitive riding. She is accomplished in precision drill, having competed throughout the Southeast. Currently, a member of the Tampa Police Civilian Mounted patrol, Mrs. Henderson is a cofounder of TRAVERSE and has been working in Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy for the last ten years.
